Helsinki’s Otto Yliperttula aka Yotto is a breakout star of 2016, picking up no fewer than four ‘Essential New Tunes’ from Pete Tong, along with an Annie Mac ‘Hottest Record’ on BBC Radio 1. He returns with “Fire Walk,” the final installment of his trio of Twin Peaks-inspired singles, having picked up DJ support on the first two from Jamie Jones, Laurent Garnier, Kölsch, Joris Voorn, Sasha and many more.
Building from insistent low-end stabs through warm atmospheric pads, “Fire Walk” reaches a dramatic crescendo of looped vocal samples and epic chords, blending darkness and euphoria in trademark Yotto fashion.
Yotto headlines Anjunadeep’s forthcoming 16-date North American Tour, including stops at New York’s Flash Factory, Exchange LA, and 1015 Folsom in San Francisco. He also appears alongside the likes of George Fitzgerald, Joris Voorn, Heidi and Dusky across a number of forthcoming European dates.
