Pig&Dan have been one of the staples in the techno world for a while, and they are celebrating their 75th release on their own label with a brand new EP.

ELEVATE focuses on releasing music to make the listener feel elevated, an imprint used to promote new artists and release tracks that they feel the world needs to hear. Hitting multiple Beatport charts, the likes of Amelie Lens, Monika Kruse, Christian Smith, Julian Jeweil and Matador have released their tracks on Pig&Dan‘s label.

We had the chance to interview Pig&Dan during Phoenix Lights Festival, so check out what this duo is all about from our exclusive interview here! They talked about their name, who they are as musicians, their passions and inspirations, along with what makes ELEVATE the label it is today.

“Starting Again” is a four-track EP with punchy percussion, groovy synth patterns, vocal soundscapes and modulating low end to name a few of its qualities. The full EP will be released on July 7, and it is available for pre-order here!

You can take a sneak peak of the EP by listening to “A.M.,” a release they just premiered.

“A.M.” brings a dark abyss like atmosphere with a haunting synth pattern, coupled by a bellowing horn. Both dominate the soundscape as vocal echoes escape into the mix.

“Obsession” brings a fast paced, old school techno groove. It comes at you with bump and swing. It’s got simple but super catchy vocals, rolling between that rhythmic peak time groove.

The vocals from “In My Mind” will sure captivate dance floors, but you just have to wait to listen to them once the full EP is out.

We had the chance to check all four tracks out, and I have to say that techno lovers will rejoice listening to their new productions.
