React outdid themselves with the lineup for the eighth year of North Coast Music Festival! After attending every single year, I got to say that this is one of my favorite festivals in the Midwest.
Taking place at Union Park in Chicago, multiple artists will captivate crowds between the 1st and 3rd of September. Labor Day Weekend will be one for the books this year, especially with Deadmau5 and Eric Prydz doing their back-to-back sets.
Tagged as summer’s last stand, North Coast is the last festival during the sporadic warm days that we get in Chicago, fueling a weekend of activities, music, colorful hoops and of course, dancing!
You can grab your tickets for the event right now! Single Day, 3-Day and VIP Tickets are on sale through this link! Layaway plans are also available for just $45 down for General Admission, and $55 down for VIP. So if you are broke from buying too many festival tickets, you can still attend this summer!
The biggest unveiling of the lineup is the famous Mau5trap vs. Pryda (or Mouseville) b2b with legends, Deadmau5 and Eric Prydz respectively. Fans of their techno/house sound will have a large smile on their face, as they see the flyer of this lineup release.
For the rap fans, the trap god, Gucci Mane, will be spittin’ his lyrics over Labor Day Weekend, and you will have a chance to see him live for the second time in Chicago.
The hippie crowd will love the performances from Damian “JR. GONG” Marley, and instrumental electronic rock ensemble Sound Tribe Sector 9 (STS9). Tipper will also be making his return to the Windy City, and we have a special headliner that is not unveiled. Who might that be, we will find out soon!
I am really excited to see one of my favorite acts, Bonobo, who will be vibing the crowd with his full live band setup. On the other hand, Hexagon boss will be playing some electro house for the weekend. If you are not a fan of Don Diablo, you should check this track here!
Shipfam will also gather in the midwest, as Gary Richards, aka Destructo, will be playing some of that g-house. I love his sets and I am really excited to experience some four on the floor with all the shipfam.
North Coast will also have artists doing live graffiti this year, along with the return of silent disco. Enough with the details though, here is the full lineup:
