Decadence Colorado 2017 is the go-to festival for this year’s NYE celebration! Taking place in three locations, Decadence will be hosted in Colorado, Utah and Arizona.

Prepping for a festival is essential to ensure a smooth and fun time (especially if you are not a Colorado native). Many of us have to do a lot of planning and this article will give you a heads up on how to manage most of the aspects of your trip and festival experience!
Transportation
Taking care of your transportation needs is the most important factor for a smooth ride to your destination. The Decadence Colorado website does not offer any flight plans, however this is not something you can not find online. Websites such as Expedia and Kayak are a great resource for finding flights. You could also use Google to find airfare.
Another possible choice for you would be Greyhound or Amtrak. These are the cheaper options, but the trip might take longer. However, NYE transportation prices are jacked up so order soon! We were checking for tickets are realized that Greyhound was the same price as if we flew to Colorado.
Your third option would be to drive there, based on where you live of course. A possible road trip would not be a bad idea. I would advise in doing a gas calculation and a possible car checkup before attempting this. A breakdown in the middle of the trip would be a horrible experience. Accomodations
The weekend is going to be long, so you definitely need a place to stay! If you have friends in Denver, you are in luck! You could always stay with them. However, if you do not have a roof above your head, you will need to find somewhere to sleep.
The Decadence Colorado website offers a selection of hotels with promotional rates for festival attendees. You can access their deals through this link, and find something suitable for your budget. If not, your other option would be AirBnB. I would hurry to find a room before everything is booked. Your best choice would be to get accommodations near the venue, so you do not have to spend money on Uber rides.

There are many rules you might have missed! Do not forget this event is 18+, so do not purchase tickets if you are underage! The main topics of interest are:
- No Marijuana products in the venue (even though it is legal in Colorado).
- No re-entry to the venue.
- No sitting down on the dance floor.
- No Go-pros allowed.
- No rage sticks/totems.
- No flow toys.
- Times are 6:30 p.m. to 3:00 a.m. daily.
