Borgeous – Souls and Sins North American Tour

After releasing two new singles, “Souls” and “Sins,” John Borger, better known as Borgeous, announced a North American Tour with Morgan Page and Delora. Kicking off in Atlanta, Georgia, the Souls and Sins Tour will make its way through 14 major cities in the United States along with Montreal, Canada.

We had the opportunity to check out their sold-out show in Chicago, at Concord Music Hall, just minutes away from the historic Congress Theatre. We got in right as Morgan Page hopped on the stage. Unfortunately, we missed Delora.

Prior to the show we didn’t think Morgan Page will play any of his classics. On the contrary, we were expecting new music and straight bangers for the 18+ Chicago crowd. Listening to his set proved us wrong. The Grammy-nominated producer did a great job warming up the decks for the headliner, playing not only his new bangers, but also mashed many of them up with his well-known classics. When playing a set, especially to a newer and younger crowd, it’s essential to educate the listeners with tracks they may have never heard before. Mr. Page did a great job with this, along with building up the energy in the room for Borgeous.

By the time Borgeous walked up to Concord Hall’s stage, the crowd was nuts to butts, shoulder to shoulder; there was no way anyone could get to the front row. We enjoyed majority of the show towards the back, near the bars 🙂

Borgeous played an awesome set, different from what we were expecting. Most of it was high-energy productions, a lot was new material we haven’t heard before, but none was disappointing. Proving to be moving up the ranks in the EDM industry, the music he played had the crowd going hard until the very last song. Even after this concert, he played another live set for a sold out after-party at the Mid.

A big thank you to Borgeous and Morgan Page for having us come and hang out at Concord Music Hall.
You guys did a great job, and we can’t wait for you to be back in town.
Overall, the Chicago show was a success and if they haven’t made a stop in your city yet, we would strongly suggest buying tickets now before it’s too late!
